Registration Forms

In order to use this Web site, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give contact information (such as name, address, telephone number and email address).

All registration data can be updated by users within the Members area to keep it correct and up to date for example change of address details.  UKno1.co.uk cannot view users chosen password only the username chosen by the user.

Special events and Updates

UKno1.co.uk send all new members a welcoming email to verify username. Members will occasionally receive information on services and a newsletter.

Newsletter

If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask this at registration or indeed the user can change whether or not they wish to receive the newsletter themselves at the Members section.

Business Transitions

In the event UKno1.co.uk goes through a business transition, such as a sale of business/merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, users personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. Users will be notified via email and prominent notice on our Web site for 30 days prior to a change of ownership or control of their personal information.

Tell-A-Friend

UKno1.co.uk display a Tell-A-Friend option.   If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, they need to complete a registration form asking them for the friends’ name and email address. This service, whilst displayed on UKno1.co.uk site is provided by another web site linked to our site and therefore UKno1.co.uk does not store any of the information submitted until the person has registered upon our site.

Please note, however, that UKno1.co.uk opposes the practice of sending unsolicited emails, also known as "spam". Therefore, we request that you send "Tell- A -Friend" emails only to people known by you who may be interested in the auction. If someone asks you not to send these emails to him or her, please comply.

Security and Passwords

All of our users personal information such as name and address, is restricted to management of UKno1.co.uk and the web design company providing support to the site regarding upgrades etc.  Passwords are changed periodically and each time there is an amendment to the site that requires assistance from web design company, then a new password will be issued in advance of the amendment and changed by UKno1.co.uk management once the amendment has been completed.

Address and Telephone Checks

We do not carry out any of the checks on personal information provided.
